Likely first produced in 1937, the Blenko Glass Co.'s Ring Series remains one of the most popular designs featuring a brilliantly colored ring (or rings) on a Crystal body.
This series has some historical significance to Blenko as the ware number indicates that it was initially produced one year prior to the iconic 384 Water Bottle! The most recent appearance of the Ring Glass was in 2016 at the request of Walter Blenko, then company President, as he recalled the use of his personal Ring rocks glass in the family home. He favored the rings as a "good grip" feature on a normally condensation slick glass and requested they be reintroduced into the line.
